Please note: In order to maintain the highest standards for breeding, we track all litters and work as a group to selectively broaden the gene pool within North America. This careful approach to breeding results in healthier dogs in the long run. As a result, we ask anyone interested in a puppy to contact us centrally at puppy@stabyhouns.org. By using this method, prospective owners do not need to track down scarce breeders — we do it for you! |

Thinking about getting a puppy? Prepare For The Commitment. Do I Have Enough Time To Raise A Puppy? Make sure that you have the patience to handle the energy of a puppy; no matter how long it takes for the dog to mature. Many breeds, like Stabyhouns, are slow to mature. This means that while their bodies are growing and they may look like an adult dog, their minds are still very puppy-like. Sadly, this is when many dogs are surrendered to shelters. Do I Want The Responsibility? Are You Still Interested? |
