Jettie Alberts, a Dutch judge for the Stabyhoun, flew to Atlanta, Denver, and Short Hills in a whirlwind trip of four short days. She visited with many of our Club members and evaluated 19 Stabys during the course of her travels. More importantly, Jettie liked what she saw in our breeding stock and will give a good report back to our Holland breeders and the NVSW. The results will be posted on the Members Only site within a few weeks. Thank you to so many of our members who went out of their way to attend and to help with all of the arrangements. The attendance for our Annual Members Meeting on August 22, 2010 was a record! Thank you to the 27 members who were able to attend, out of a current paid membership of 78. The high percentage of member turnout, enabled us to have good representation on both sides of some important issues that needed to be addressed. The Constitution and Bylaw changes were carried, and are now available to this website. Once again, thank you to our members who managed to stay with us for over two hours! Your dedication is exemplary. The presentation in its entirety is available on CD along with the Breeders Advisory special webinar held 8-29-2010. If interested in receiving these, we ask for a donation of $5 to cover expenses. For our breeders, the Breeders Advisory Committee recently held a Webinar presentation. The Committee members explained the goals and procedures of the BAC in detail, along with examples of the forms we have developed for tracking litters and health information. This presentation is also available for our members in CD format along with the Annual Members Meeting. Again, if interested in receiving these, we ask for a donation of $5 to cover expenses.
